Senior Litigation Paralegal – Employment LitigationRemote | Full-Time Contract Position | $75,000–$95,000+ Per Year Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of litigation experience to join our law firm in a fully remote, full-time contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, excellent legal writing and research skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution. This position emphasizes drafting motions and legal briefs, managing discovery, maintaining litigation files and calendars, and preparing and filing court documents. The successful candidate must be organized, self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation practice. Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Drafting and Litigation Support Draft motions, memoranda of law, briefs, and other court filings, particularly in employment litigation matters. Prepare and draft discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Assist with drafting pleadings, complaints, responses, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case analysis and litigation strategy. Discovery and Case Management Manage discovery processes, including reviewing, organizing, analyzing, and summarizing discovery materials. Assist with document review, production, and preparation of exhibits. Maintain and organize electronic litigation files and case-management systems. Manage litigation calendars, track court deadlines, and ensure timely completion of filings and other case-related tasks. Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and other litigation-related activities. Court Filings and Administrative Responsibilities Prepare and electronically file documents through PACER/CM/ECF and other applicable court filing systems. Monitor case dockets, court orders, and filing deadlines. Perform general paralegal and litigation support duties as needed. QualificationsMinimum of five years of litigation paralegal experience; employment litigation experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to draft motions, legal briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents. Familiarity with federal and state court procedures, including PACER/CM/ECF filing systems. Strong knowledge of discovery procedures, litigation calendaring, and electronic file management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline management. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing assignments, and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic document-management and case-management systems. Reliable internet access and a dedicated remote workspace.
