Role: Sr Mainframe DBB – IBM IDz & Dependency-Based Build (DBB) Exp:12+ years Work authorization: USC Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in IBM z/OS technologies, IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz), and Dependency Based Build (DBB). The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise mainframe applications while supporting modern DevOps and CI/CD practices for mainframe environments. Required Skills MUST Strong experience in Mainframe Development Hands-on experience with: COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM CICS Experience with IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) Experience with Dependency Based Build (DBB) - MUST Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of Endevor/Changeman version control Experience working in Agile environment Good debugging and problem-solving skills Roles & Responsibilities Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS Work with IDz for development and debugging activities Implement and maintain DBB build pipelines Integrate mainframe applications with DevOps and CI/CD tools Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment support Analyze production issues and provide fixes Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with z/OS modernization projects Knowledge of REXX and Shell scripting Exposure to APIs and mainframe integration tools Banking/Insurance domain experience is a plus
