Job Description

Ameriprise is seeking a strategic and consultative Talent Acquisition Partner to support the Wealth Management Advisor Group (WMAG), a critical growth engine within the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leaders to attract, assess, and hire top talent across WMAG's diverse advisor and leadership channels, including the Ameriprise Franchise Group (AFG) and Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group (AFIG). This position requires a trusted advisor who can influence hiring decisions, provide talent market intelligence, develop proactive sourcing strategies, and align recruiting outcomes with business objectives. You will build deep relationships with leaders, anticipate workforce needs, and deliver innovative talent solutions that support business growth and long-term succession planning. The role combines strategic partnership, executive-level consulting, and hands-on recruiting execution for complex and highly visible positions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute innovative sourcing and talent attraction strategies that generate diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines. Partner directly with senior and executive leaders to understand business priorities, talent gaps, and organizational needs. Utilize direct sourcing, networking, talent mapping, and pipelining techniques to identify and engage passive talent. Serve as a trusted consultant by providing labor market insights, competitive intelligence, and talent trends that inform hiring decisions. Partner with HR Business Partners, Compensation, and business leaders to support compensation discussions and offer strategy. Effectively communicate Ameriprise's value proposition and compensation philosophy to candidates, facilitating successful offer negotiations and acceptance. Ensure compliance with all employment regulations, policies, and affirmative action requirements while developing recruitment strategies that support organizational goals. Leverage data and analytics to measure recruiting effectiveness, identify opportunities, and influence decision-making. Drive continuous improvement efforts across Talent Acquisition and may lead cross-functional projects, process enhancements, and strategic initiatives. Support succession planning, workforce planning, and proactive talent strategies that strengthen leadership pipelines and critical talent capabilities across WMAG
