Weare looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and troubleshootcore database modules and system interfaces, collaborating closely with analysts, projectmanagers, and cross-functional developers. Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex databaseobjects—including Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers —using SQL andPL/SQL.System Integration: Develop and support robust system interfaces; design and maintainmaterialized views for data replication in distributed environments. Collaboration & Documentation: Coordinate with project managers and analysts to gatherspecifications for core modules, draft technical design documents, and document processesfor effective evaluation. Performance Optimization: Monitor existing PL/SQL packages and stored procedures,recommending tuning strategies for business process improvements where needed. Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a technical point of contact to troubleshoot user-reported issues and ensure efficient transitions of technical designs to applicationdevelopers. SDLC Management: Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) from analysis to design, testing, and implementation, ensuring timely deliveryagainst aggressive deadlines. Technical Requirements & SkillsCore Technologies: Experience in Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and application development using Oracle 11g/10g/6i.Database Programming: Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, SQLPLUS, SQLLOADER, and TOAD (or sql developer).Advanced PL/SQL: Experience in table triggers, bulk collections, and analytical functions. Oracle Supplied Packages: Working knowledge of DBMS_SQL, DBMS_JOB, and UTL_FILE.Database Architecture: Experience in creating/modifying Tables, Views, Constraints, and Indexes. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)While not explicitly required, experience in the following areas is highly valued: Data Warehousing & ETL: Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, Extract-Transform-Load processes, and data migration.
