Senior Project Manager

Remote · Hong Kong Full-time

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a seasoned, forward-thinking Senior Project Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead critical, high-impact technology projects. The ideal candidate will be the driving force behind our complex system and data integration initiatives, ensuring seamless connectivity between disparate enterprise systems, APIs, cloud environments, and third-party platforms. As a leader, you must possess a deep understanding of the latest technology trends (Cloud, Microservices, AI/ML integrations, DevOps), be an expert in project management tools like Atlassian Jira, and exhibit exceptional communication skills to align cross-functional tech teams with executive stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
  • Integration Delivery Management: End-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and system integration projects (e.g., API-led connectivity, legacy-to-cloud migrations, ERP/CRM integrations, and third-party ecosystem rollouts).
  • Agile Governance & Tooling: Establish robust project tracking mechanisms. Act as the administrator/expert for Jira and Confluence, managing sprints, backlogs, velocity charts, burndown metrics, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Tech-Driven Leadership: Keep pace with modern tech frameworks. Facilitate deep-dive technical discussions around microservices architecture, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Kafka), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary bridge between engineering teams, QA, product owners, vendor partners, and C-level executives. Translate technical complexities into business-friendly progress updates.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify integration bottlenecks, architectural dependencies, data security risks, and scope creep. Formulate decisive mitigation plans to keep delivery timelines on track.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor distributed, cross-functional engineering teams in India and globally, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 15+ years of core project management experience within the IT, software development, or global consulting sectors, with a proven track record of delivering multi-million dollar projects.
  • Integration Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of integration intricacies, including data synchronization, security protocols (OAuth, SSL), error handling, latency optimization, and middleware routing.
  • Tools Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Jira, Jira Align, or MS Project for tracking complex software delivery workflows.
  • Tech Savviness: Strong conceptual understanding of modern software paradigms—CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Communication: Flawless verbal and written English communication skills. The ability to command respect, negotiate timelines, and resolve conflicts across global teams is non-negotiable.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications are highly desirable.
