Position: Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer – Verisk FAST / Hexure FireLight / ForeSight Locations: USA / Canada / India (100% Remote - US EST Hours Required) Experience Level: 7–9 Years Employment Type: Contract Role Overview & Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for enterprise insurance applications. Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for workflows involving Verisk FAST, Hexure FireLight, or Hexure ForeSight platforms. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and validate API integrations, backend data flows, and microservices. Perform database validation, data integrity testing, and data verification using SQL queries. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, defect triage, and CI/CD deployment validation using Jira or Azure DevOps. Collaborate directly with US-based developers, business analysts, and product owners during US Eastern Time (EST/EDT) business hours. Required Qualifications & Skills: 7–9 years of genuine professional experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation. Mandatory hands-on technical experience with at least one required platform: Verisk FAST, Hexure FireLight, or Hexure ForeSight. Strong practical understanding of insurance domain workflows (Life Insurance, Annuities, Policy Administration, or e-Application distribution). Demonstrated experience in functional, integration, regression, API, and database testing. Automation testing experience using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured is highly desirable. Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed remote team. Must be available to work during US Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) business hours.
