With a global footprint and a culture rooted in curiosity, integrity, and continuous improvement, we empower our clients to make smarter decisions faster and deliver exceptional experiences that set industry standards. Our mission is simple: every byte of information, when clean, consistent, and accessible, unlocks new opportunities for growth, efficiency, and customer delight.

Why This Role Is a Game‑Changer

In today’s data‑driven world, the role of a data entry professional has evolved from simple transcription to a critical quality‑control function. As a Senior Remote Data Entry Specialist at brighthush, you will be the guardian of that data—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for analysts, product teams, and executives alike. Your meticulous work will ripple across the organization, enabling predictive modeling, feature launches, and strategic planning. If you thrive on precision, enjoy problem‑solving, and are passionate about turning chaos into clarity, brighthush is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Conversion: Digitize information from paper, PDFs, handwritten notes, and other unstructured sources using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Customer‑Facing Data Entry: Receive and input client data, ensuring clarity, completeness, and adherence to formatting standards.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Build, maintain, and audit large spreadsheets, ensuring formulas, formatting, and data integrity remain flawless.
  • Data Verification: Cross‑check entries against source documents to identify and correct discrepancies, and document any anomalies for follow‑up.
  • Database Updates: Add new records, modify existing entries, and delete obsolete data while preserving audit trails and version control.
  • Data Retrieval: Pull requested information from databases or electronic files for internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Backup & Preservation: Perform regular backups, implement redundancy protocols, and verify data integrity to safeguard against loss.
  • Paperwork Organization: Sort, file, and archive physical documents post‑entry to prevent loss and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in periodic audits, provide feedback on process improvements, and adhere to data confidentiality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Manager and senior team members to refine workflows, troubleshoot issues, and share best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a data entry or administrative role.
  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with a 98% accuracy rate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, or similar).
  • Strong command of written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise data entry platforms commonly used in large organizations.
  • Knowledge of data cleansing tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software and scanning workflows.
  • Previous remote work experience and proven time‑management skills.
  • Basic programming knowledge (Python, VBA) for automating repetitive tasks.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, data validation, and basic database querying.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and potential data quality issues.
  • Communication: Clear, concise written communication for reporting errors or clarifications.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with evolving tools, processes, and data standards.
  • Integrity: Commitment to data privacy, security, and ethical handling of sensitive information.
  • Team Collaboration: Willingness to share insights, support peers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
