Role Overview

We’re looking for a meticulous, self‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, data‑centric environment. In this role, you will be the guardian of data quality, the bridge between technical systems and business stakeholders, and a catalyst for continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will span from capturing and verifying data to driving process enhancements that elevate operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Verification – Accurately input, update, and verify customer information across multiple database platforms, ensuring 99.9% data integrity. This includes meticulous attention to detail, double‑checking entries, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Discrepancy Resolution – Identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies in partnership with cross‑functional teams such as Customer Support, Compliance, and Product Management. You’ll own the root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting & Analytics – Generate detailed reports, dashboards, and trend analyses to support data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll translate raw data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement – Proactively suggest and implement workflow enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice guidelines to increase efficiency. You’ll champion lean principles and help streamline data pipelines.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Act as a liaison between technical and non‑technical stakeholders, translating complex data requirements into actionable insights. You’ll facilitate clear communication across departments.
  • Onboarding & Training – Mentor new hires, conduct training sessions, and develop onboarding materials to ensure consistent data standards across the team. Your expertise will shape the next generation of data specialists.
  • Compliance & Security – Adhere to all data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and internal security protocols, safeguarding sensitive customer information. You’ll maintain rigorous audit trails and data governance standards.
  • Quality Assurance – Conduct regular audits of data sets, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions. Your QA work will uphold the highest standards of data quality.
  • Technology Adoption – Evaluate and recommend new tools or software that can enhance data entry accuracy and speed. You’ll stay ahead of emerging technologies and share insights with the team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education – High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience – Minimum of 2 years in data entry, database administration, or a related role, with a proven track record of maintaining high data quality in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), familiarity with data entry software (SQL, Airtable, Google Sheets), and a basic understanding of data governance principles.
  • Attention to Detail – Exceptional accuracy, meticulousness, and a strong commitment to data integrity. You should be able to spot errors that others might miss.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences. You’ll write clear documentation and deliver concise updates.
  • Self‑Motivation – Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting. You should be proactive and resourceful.
  • Adaptability – Comfortable with changing priorities and learning new tools quickly. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data migration projects or large‑scale data cleansing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner).
  • Previous remote work experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in additional languages or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for data automation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Data Management & Governance – Understanding of data lifecycle, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Process Optimization & Automation – Ability to identify bottlenecks and implement automated solutions.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving – Strong analytical mindset to diagnose issues and propose solutions.
  • Project Coordination & Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Experience leading or participating in cross‑departmental projects.
  • Adaptability & Continuous Learning – Willingness to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong Organizational & Time‑Management Abilities – Managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset – Understanding the impact of data quality on user experience and business outcomes.
