In this role, you will lead technical initiatives, translate complex business requirements into secure configurations and code, and establish deployment best practices. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will act as a strategic advisor, mentor junior developers, and ensure the long-term maintainability and performance of our multi-cloud environment. Core Responsibilities Custom Development: Design and build secure, scalable solutions using Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch, and Scheduled Jobs) and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Architecture & Integration: Architect and implement robust, secure integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Declarative Automation: Maximize platform functionality by designing complex workflows using advanced Salesforce Flows, Prompt Templates, and Agent Actions. Technical Leadership: Lead code reviews, drive SDLC standards, enforce bulkification practices, and ensure high test class coverage across sandbox and production orgs. DevOps & Lifecycle: Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes utilizing Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, and DevOps Center tools. AI & Platform Strategy: Evaluate new CRM technologies, Salesforce product releases, and modern AI capabilities (such as Agentforce and Einstein Copilot) to create strategic roadmaps for adoption. Mentorship & Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders, product managers, and external engineering teams while coaching junior developers. Required Skills & Experience Experience: Minimum 9+ years of hands-on enterprise-level software engineering experience, with at least 4 years dedicated exclusively to advanced Salesforce custom development. Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Cloud Environments: Proven experience customizing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and [insert other clouds, e.g., Experience / Health / Commerce Cloud]. Integration Patterns: Strong background in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), asynchronous Apex patterns, error handling, and event-driven data models.
