This is an opportunity to help build a next-generation internal tools platform, consolidating legacy systems into a modern, unified architecture that supports multiple areas of the business. You’ll work on high-performance backend services, API development, data modeling, and platform architecture while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams. 🔥 What You’ll Do Build and scale backend services, APIs, and microservices for a modern internal tools platform. Help consolidate legacy applications into a unified, high-performance system. Design RESTful APIs and scalable architectures that support evolving business needs and AI-driven use cases. Develop and optimize relational database schemas, queries, and data models. Partner with product managers and engineers across multiple business teams to deliver impactful solutions. Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability. Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, refactoring, and debugging while maintaining high engineering standards. Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, testing practices, and technical innovation. ✅ What We’re Looking For 6+ years of professional backend software engineering experience. Strong Java and Spring Boot experience — required. Solid experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization. Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and scalable backend architectures. Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor. Ability to evaluate AI-generated code critically and take ownership of code quality, security, and reliability. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and systems. Experience with Python, Node.js, Go, NoSQL databases, BigQuery, or LLM integrations is a plus. Computer Science or related degree preferred, but not required. 🌟 Why Consider This Opportunity?
