Location : Remote (U.S.), or on-site in Ogden, UT or Burlington, VT Reports to : VP of Engineering & Project Management Compensation : $165,000 - $195,000 base, plus annual bonus Our client is a specialized mechanical contractor delivering structural steel and pipe support engineering for complex, mission-critical facilities across water/wastewater, semiconductor, data center, and advanced manufacturing markets nationwide. Your Role: As Senior Pipe Support Engineer, you will lead a small team of engineers while serving as engineer of record, signing and sealing structural calculations and designs for large-scale piping and structural steel systems. What You'll Do: Lead and mentor a team of three pipe support engineers, reviewing their work and supporting their technical growth Design structural steel supports, connections, base plates, and anchorage for large-diameter process piping systems Evaluate pipe stress and movement interfaces with anchors, guides, and supports to ensure constructible, code-compliant designs Sign and seal structural calculations and drawings as engineer of record Apply AISC, ASCE 7, IBC, and AWS D1.1 standards across seismic and delegated design work Partner directly with clients and project teams to resolve constructability challenges on water/wastewater, semiconductor, data center, and advanced manufacturing projects What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field 10+ years of pipe support and/or structural engineering experience 5+ years of engineering management or team leadership experience Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, with willingness and ability to sign and seal Hands-on structural steel design experience, including connections, base plates, and anchorage (AISC, ASCE 7, IBC, AWS D1.1) Working knowledge of pipe stress and movement interfacing with anchors, guides, and supports Must qualify as a U.S. Person and be able to work without visa sponsorship Why Join?
