Edkey is working on an APAC initiative and seeks help to complete this project in collaboration with multiple partners. Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior UX Designer with 8+ years of experience in designing consumer mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects that reach millions of users in a fast-growing market. This is a remote position, offering contract work for 20-40 hours per week (with potential for full-time) over a 6-month period. Hours are flexible, but availability for working and attending meetings in the late afternoons/early evenings Pacific Time is required, as the engineering team is based in the Asia Pacific region. The ability to rapidly iterate in a dynamic environment where requirements are quickly being defined is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the UX design process from concept to delivery for consumer mobile applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, information architecture diagrams, mockups, create personas and journey maps, high fidelity prototypes. Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates. Develop design systems and guidelines for our mobile products. Conduct functional and visual QA. Qualifications8+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong focus on consumer mobile applications. Proven track record of designing successful mobile apps, evidenced by a strong portfolio. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and other relevant software. Extensive experience with user research methodologies and usability testing. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design patterns and guidelines for both iOS and Android platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multilingual environment. Ability to think strategically and advocate for the user while balancing business objectives. Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment. Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field (preferred).
