Veritas Press is a Christian organization dedicated to providing the best classical Christian educational materials and services anywhere while delivering an outstanding customer experience. We are seeking dedicated, customer-focused individuals to join our seasonal team, with the possibility of a more permanent position.

We require consistent availability to work at least 20 hours per week during our regular business hours. Our business hours are currently 8 am to 5 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday. During the summer, hours extend to 6 pm Monday through Thursday. The position requires at least 4-hour blocks on 5 business days. Future opportunities for evening hours to support our international team may become available.

Description:

As a Service Representative at Veritas Press, you will play a key role in providing top-notch service to our valued customers. You will be the frontline representative, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
2. Provide accurate and helpful information regarding products, services, and policies.
3. Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
4. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and promptly.
5. Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and provide comprehensive solutions.
6. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
7. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture focused on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
2. Knowledge of Veritas Press and Veritas Scholars Academy is a plus.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
5. Customer-focused with a positive and empathetic attitude.
6. Ability to adapt to changing processes and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficient in basic computer applications and comfortable using customer service software.
8. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin) to support domestic and international families is a plus.

Physical Demands:

1. Standing or sitting for long periods.
2. Extensive typing on a QWERTY-style keyboard.
3. Extensive viewing of lighted computer monitors.
4. Speaking and hearing.

Education:

1. Some college education is preferred.
2. High school diploma or equivalent, which may be waived for talented, classically educated students.
