This is a part-time flexible Hybrid/Remote position designed to accommodate students in good standing with their university. The ideal candidate will be a rising senior or a master's degree student pursuing a degree in Software Development, computer science, or any related field. Seniors pursuing bachelor's degree will be considered. A professor recommendation is required. This position requires a U.S. Security Clearance. POSITION OVERVIEW: This position requires the performance of tasks related to research, development, deployment, and enhancement of enterprise-wide software solutions using techniques such as hands-on coding, debugging, contributing to software architecture and design, etc. on behalf of the government customer and SBCC. Essential functions Collaborate on software development projects supporting operational systems and analytics platforms. Write, test, and maintain code using modern programming languages and frameworks. Participate in the design and implementation of databases and APIs. Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing software applications. Contribute to documentation, reporting, and presentations for stakeholders. Work independently and as part of a team to solve technical challenges. Learn and apply new technologies and development practices.
