Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer — Golang Developer at Appzlogic. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and testable code, troubleshooting and optimizing existing services, integrating with databases and external systems, and contributing to architecture and design discussions. The Golang Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and follow secure development practices . The role also involves documenting technical solutions, improving development workflows, and supporting continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience building applications in Golang. Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with databases. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns for building maintainable and modular systems. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with secure coding practices, performance optimization, and monitoring of backend services. Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for modern software delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Effective communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and strong problem-solving mindset.
