Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Spanish Interpreter, with training provided. The interpreter will facilitate clear, accurate communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals in medical, business, and customer service settings. Daily tasks include interpreting spoken conversations in real time over phone and video platforms, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring culturally appropriate language use. The role also involves following established protocols, documenting session details when required, and participating in ongoing training and quality assurance activities. The position requires availability across scheduled shifts to support 24/7 operations and collaboration with remote teams and coordinators.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Medical Interpretation and related healthcare communication practices. Candidates should possess skills in Simultaneous Interpretation and consecutive interpreting in Spanish and English. Candidates should possess skills in Translation and written language transfer for basic documents or support materials. Candidates should possess experience in Interpreting and Language Services across diverse settings and clients. High proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English, with clear, neutral, and professional communication. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other relevant privacy regulations. Strong active listening skills, cultural sensitivity, and attention to detail under time pressure. Comfort working remotely with reliable internet access, a quiet workspace, and basic technical troubleshooting skills. Prior interpreting experience or relevant training is beneficial; medical or customer service background is a plus.
