Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Spanish/English Over the Phone Interpreter. The interpreter will facilitate clear, accurate communication between Spanish- and English-speaking callers in real time, ensuring that information is conveyed faithfully and neutrally. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting customer service calls, supporting inbound and outbound call activities, and assisting with direct response and upselling conversations when needed. The role requires active listening, quick thinking, and adherence to confidentiality and professional ethics while maintaining a courteous, customer-focused approach. The interpreter will work with call center systems and call scripts, follow established procedures, and collaborate with supervisors for ongoing guidance and performance feedback.

Qualifications

Strong bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, including advanced Translation and interpreting skills. Excellent Communication abilities, both spoken and written, with a clear, neutral telephone voice. Customer Service experience, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and problem-solving in high-volume call environments. Background in English Teaching or Training is beneficial, especially experience explaining concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access, a quiet workspace, and comfort using call center and communication software. High level of confidentiality, integrity, and respect for cultural and linguistic differences. Prior experience in a call center, interpreting, or related customer-facing role is preferred. Availability to work full-time with flexible scheduling, including possible evenings or weekends based on business needs.
