About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Engineer who builds and automates infrastructure — not just maintains it. This role is for someone who designs and implements cloud systems, writes automation to provision and deploy them, and owns the reliability of what they build. This is an Azure-native environment; candidates need deep, hands-on Azure expertise.

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud infrastructure, applications, and related systems/processes end-to-end Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Automate infrastructure, cloud services, and application builds (IaC-driven) Manage and optimize Azure App Services, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Storage, APIM, Graph API, and AKS Implement monitoring and observability using Datadog and Application Insights Own SQL Server infrastructure: SQL Service Broker, Always On availability groups, partitioning, and performance optimization Troubleshoot across the full stack — servers, OS, cloud services, applications, and networking Partner with engineering teams to translate architecture decisions into implemented, automated systems

Qualifications

Strong, hands-on experience with: Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Datadog, Application Insights, Azure Storage, APIM, Graph API, AKS Extensive troubleshooting experience across servers, OS, cloud services, applications, and networks Proven experience automating infrastructure, cloud services, and application builds (not just running existing pipelines) Demonstrated experience overseeing the design and implementation of systems, applications, and related processes Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including SQL Service Broker, Always On availability groups, partitioning, and optimization techniques Strong written and spoken English — this role involves direct collaboration with a US-based team Pay range and work arrangements Fully remote role under the contractor modality, with competitive pay
