Job description

Bond is a leading customer engagement and intelligence company, helping global brands achieve sustainable, customer‑centric growth. We combine loyalty strategy, advanced technology, rich data insights, and marketing expertise to deliver tailored solutions for some of the world’s most recognized enterprises.   With deep roots in loyalty and customer engagement, we’ve earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to complex enterprise organizations. We’re now entering a phase of accelerated growth - expanding our reach, investing in go‑to‑market strategies, and unlocking new opportunities across industries and solution areas.   As Sr. Director, Business Development, you will be a growth driver - building relationships in untapped markets, pursuing new and recently acquired clients, shaping high‑impact solutions, and delivering measurable results. This is a senior-level individual contributor role, focused on personally driving the pursuit and closing of new and recently acquired clients, in collaboration with Bond’s practice teams. This role demands a proactive, opportunity‑creating mindset and the ability to connect client needs with Bond’s diverse capabilities, from marketing strategy and insights to experience design, technology solutions, and innovation partnerships.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and senior level experience in business development, consulting, or agency leadership.
  • 10+ years in client facing roles with accountability for revenue generation, account growth, and new and recently acquired client development.
  • Proven experience managing the entire sales cycle - from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic solution selling within complex enterprise environments, engaging multiple stakeholders and navigating matrixed decision making.
  • Ideally brings experience in one or more of Bond’s core domains - retail/consumer, MarTech/CRM implementation, alliance led selling, or loyalty/CX/customer engagement - with expertise in multiple domains considered a strong asset.
  • Strong understanding of go to market strategies, competitive positioning, and solution design.
  • Skilled at collaborating with internal practice and solution leaders to craft high impact proposals.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship building, and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in fast moving environments.
  • Commercially minded with strong financial acumen for forecasting, margin management, and executive reporting.
  • Thrives in a hunter role - resourceful, persistent, and motivated to create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • Financial acumen to manage revenue forecasts, costs, profit margins, and reporting to executives.

  • Proactively build relationships with senior decision makers at target organizations.
  • Create new conversations in the market to uncover opportunities and position Bond’s value.

  • Drive outbound engagement to generate qualified opportunities and maintain momentum in pursuit cycles.
  • Connect prospects with the right internal experts to align solutions with their needs.
  Solution Shaping & Pursuit Leadership
  • Assemble cross functional teams to design tailored solutions, develop pricing strategies, and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Lead pursuit efforts from strategy through to close, ensuring proposals clearly articulate objectives, deliverables, timelines, and Bond’s value proposition.
  • Coach pursuit teams to adopt winning approaches in competitive situations.
  Client Transition & Growth Enablement
  • Oversee onboarding of new clients, ensuring smooth handoff to delivery teams and alignment with client priorities.
  • Maintain a presence during early delivery phases to ensure satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Develop first year growth strategies for new accounts, expanding relationships across Bond’s service offerings.
  Revenue & Performance Management
  • Achieve quarterly and annual growth targets.
