Abdi & Associates, Inc., a California-based law firm, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented SSDI/SSI Intake Specialist & Case Manager to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

Screen prospective SSDI/SSI clients, evaluate basic eligibility, and complete intake questionnaires. Follow up with prospective clients and assist with client sign-ups. Manage SSDI/SSI cases from initial application through reconsideration and the hearing stage. Prepare and submit SSA applications, appeals, and hearing requests. Request medical records, gather supporting documentation, and monitor deadlines. Communicate with clients, SSA offices, DDS, and medical providers. Provide regular case updates and follow up on outstanding information. Assist attorneys with hearing preparation, medical evidence summaries, and case reviews. Maintain accurate case files and track case progress using case management software.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of direct SSDI/SSI intake and/or case management experience required. Excellent written and spoken English required. Spanish fluency strongly preferred. Experience in U.S. legal intake, legal assistance, or case management. SSDI/SSI experience highly preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines. Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, and legal software. Reliable internet connection and availability during California business hours.
