Startup Advisor
Dear serial entrepreneurs, operators and advisors, I am finalizing my startup team! About Talmenta:
- Business model. Talmenta transitions mathematical research from the 19th century (master-apprentice + deep thinking) to the 21st century (management-based + AI-assisted). We train and sell research managers to mathematicians worldwide.
- Business evidence. The mathematical research community anticipates shocking workforce changes due to the rise of AI. Discussions in university mailing lists confirm that selecting and training research managers is the missing key for this transition.
- Current stage. We currently serve five preliminary clients, are in talks with Axiom Math to serve as their technology distributor, and are backed by a $100K founder contribution.
As our Startup Advisor:
- Help with standard decisions. I am a passionate supervisor and technical founder, but I need an experienced perspective to help me navigate critical startup decisions.
- Guide fundraising and growth. Help steady the ship over the coming months and years as we refine our GTM strategy, seek venture capital and scale operations.
- Act as a sounding board. Offer objective feedback on team scaling, partnership negotiations, and avoiding common early-stage founder pitfalls.
What you get:
- Compensation. This is an equity-based strategic partnership. We are offering a substantial equity stake (0.2% – 0.6%) depending on your experience and level of involvement. We are looking for a long-term fractional commitment.
- Lean into your strengths. Talmenta is built entirely around the value of talent-based management. If you love mentoring passionate founders and want to shape the future of how global science is conducted, you will enjoy working with me.
Tell me a bit about your entrepreneurial journey and what draws you to the changing landscape of scientific research! Best wishes, Jasper van de Kreeke
