Entry) Location: 100% Remote – Tallahassee, Florida Duration: Long-Term Contract Number of Candidates to Submit: Maximum 2 candidates Job Summary The client is seeking a Systems Analyst to support and enhance its cloud-based Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network (STSSN) data management application. The selected candidate will maintain and improve application functionality and user interfaces, support application testing and backend database integration, optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures, and assist with database design, maintenance, backups, data migration, and recovery testing. The role also involves supporting application migration to Spring Boot microservices, troubleshooting system performance and connectivity issues, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring data integrity and security. Required / Preferred Technical Skills Azure cloud services management SQL Server database management Application development and database management SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers Database schema design and data modeling Application testing and troubleshooting Cloud application support and migration Spring Boot microservices migration Database backup, recovery, and data migration Information security and Section 508 compliance Preferred Experience 4+ years of experience managing Azure cloud services 4+ years of experience managing SQL Server databases 4+ years of experience in application development and database management Education A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
