Recognized for leadership and innovation in e-commerce, digital content, advertising, entertainment, and communications, Rakuten brings the joy of discovery and access to more than one billion members globally. Our teams work to delight merchants and customers through innovation, optimism, and collaboration. About The Role Rakuten International is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join its dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This role is central to delivering a thoughtful, organized, and welcoming candidate experience throughout the interview process. You will partner with candidates, Talent Acquisition Partners, hiring managers, and interview teams to coordinate interviews, communicate logistics, manage schedule changes, and support offer letter preparation. The position requires someone who can work confidently in a high-volume environment, balance competing requests, and coordinate across locations and time zones. The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, discretion, and a proactive approach to resolving scheduling challenges. This role is eligible for remote employment in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. The anticipated hourly compensation range is USD $15.98–$26.92. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience is preferred but not required. You will need excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong customer-service mindset. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and stay composed under pressure is essential. You should be detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working independently with minimal direction. Success in this role also requires effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, problem-solving ability, and a confident, professional approach in a fast-paced environment that may involve ambiguity. Because the role involves sensitive candidate and business information, you must handle confidential matters with focus, tact, and discretion.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of offer letters and contribute to Talent Acquisition Operations projects, including process improvements, data tracking, reporting, and documentation. Throughout each interaction, help create a warm and inviting candidate experience while protecting confidential information.
