Build a thorough understanding of provider workflows, including patient onboarding, glucose data review, clinical follow-up, treatment decision support, therapy adjustments, and coordination across care settings. Design clear ways to communicate continuous glucose data, trends, alerts, and system states. Partner with cross-functional teams to define user needs, product requirements, technical feasibility, risk controls, labeling considerations, and approval requirements. Plan and support provider research, contextual inquiry, usability testing, and Human Factors activities, then translate findings into design direction and risk mitigations. Facilitate workshops and present recommendations to project teams and leadership, explaining the evidence, tradeoffs, rationale, and next steps. Mentor designers and contribute to a collaborative culture of constructive feedback, design excellence, and continuous improvement.
