Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding the organization’s market presence. This role leads new business initiatives, identifies and develops partnerships, and builds long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include overseeing sales pipelines, creating and executing business development plans, negotiating high-value contracts, and collaborating with leadership to align growth strategies with organizational goals. The Vice President of Business Development will also mentor and support sales and account management teams, monitor market trends, and provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Strong new business development and sales skills to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and convert prospects into long-term clients. Experience in business planning and strategic growth initiatives, including market analysis and revenue forecasting. Proficiency in contract negotiation to structure, review, and finalize agreements that support sustainable partnerships. Account management capabilities to nurture existing relationships, enhance client satisfaction, and encourage retention and expansion. Demonstrated leadership experience in business development or sales at the senior level, preferably in fitness, wellness, or related industries. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across remote and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and CRM tools to guide decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
