Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding Fugro Power Solutions Ltd’s presence in the marine electrical and navigation market. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing long-term commercial strategies, and cultivating relationships with key clients and partners. The role involves overseeing sales pipelines, leading contract negotiations, and collaborating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions align with customer needs. The Vice President of Business Development will also monitor market trends, support pricing and proposal development, and report on performance against revenue and growth targets to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in New Business Development and Sales, with a track record of generating sustainable revenue growth. Strong skills in Business Planning, including market analysis, forecasting, and strategic roadmap development. Demonstrated ability in Contract Negotiation, managing complex commercial agreements and protecting organizational interests. Experience in Account Management, maintaining long-term client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Relevant experience in the maritime, marine technology, or industrial solutions sector is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Leadership experience in business development or commercial roles, including mentoring and guiding cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an asset.
