Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and executing the company’s growth strategy. This position oversees new business development initiatives, identifying and qualifying opportunities, building pipelines, and forging strategic partnerships. The role includes managing key client relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning business development activities with overall business planning and revenue goals. Day-to-day tasks involve leading sales efforts, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded. The Vice President will also mentor team members, refine processes, and represent the company in external meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales, with the ability to build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities. Strong skills in Business Planning and strategic growth initiatives, including forecasting, market analysis, and long-term planning. Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and effective risk management. Experience in Account Management, with a track record of maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients and partners. Proven leadership experience in business development or sales at a senior or executive level. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. Experience in technology, services, or related industries is beneficial.
