Role Description The Vice President of Client Relations is a full-time remote role responsible for leading client relationship strategy and execution across global markets. This role oversees key accounts, ensures consistent delivery of a market-leading customer experience, and aligns client engagement with DAF brand values and financial objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting client service standards, guiding account management teams, monitoring customer satisfaction metrics, and resolving complex client issues. The Vice President collaborates closely with sales, finance, operations, and marketing to develop relationship-focused initiatives that support revenue growth, retention, and long-term partnerships. This role also contributes to strategic planning, continuous improvement in client processes, and the development of scalable frameworks for global client relations.

Qualifications

Strong Business Relationship Management and Client Relations skills, with experience leading strategic partnerships and executive-level stakeholder engagement. Demonstrated expertise in Customer Satisfaction and Account Management, including designing and implementing customer experience programs and retention strategies. Solid understanding of Finance as it relates to pricing, profitability, and contract structures, with the ability to balance client value and business performance. Proven leadership experience in client-facing roles within automotive, commercial vehicles, transportation, or related industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style. Experience managing remote and cross-functional teams across multiple regions or countries. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is beneficial. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
