Royal Inn Hotels & Residences is a Cairo-based hospitality management company specializing in the ownership and operation of boutique hotels. The company currently manages two properties: Royal Inn Residence Nasr City, a 13-room boutique hotel, and Royal Inn Residence New Cairo, featuring 36 serviced units. With two additional boutique hotels under renovation in Abdeen and Heliopolis, Royal Inn is actively expanding its footprint in key districts across Cairo. This growth positions the company as an emerging, scalable player in the city’s boutique hospitality market, offering opportunities to shape data-driven operations from an early stage in its expansion. Role Description The Vice-President of Data Operations, North America is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing data strategy, governance, and analytics capabilities that support Royal Inn’s operational and growth objectives. This position leads the design and optimization of data operations frameworks, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure data collection, integration, and reporting across business units. Day-to-day activities include managing data teams and vendors, developing KPIs and dashboards for hotel performance, partnering with finance and operations to inform P&L decisions, and supporting customer experience initiatives with actionable insights. The role also involves aligning data projects with strategic priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and establishing standards and best practices for data quality, compliance, and documentation. The Vice-President will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive data-informed decision-making and scalable processes for current and future properties.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management experience, including designing and optimizing processes for multi-property or multi-site organizations. Demonstrated P&L Management capabilities, with the ability to translate data insights into financial performance improvements and budget decisions. Background in Customer Service analytics or customer experience, using data to enhance guest satisfaction and service standards. Proven Strategic Planning skills, including setting data strategy, defining KPIs, and aligning initiatives with long-term business goals. Advanced Project Management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives from planning through execution. Expertise in data operations, data governance, and business intelligence tools (e.g., data warehouses, visualization platforms, ETL processes). Ability to lead and mentor distributed teams, collaborate effectively in a remote environment, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage. Experience in hospitality, real estate, or multi-location service industries is highly beneficial.
