Role Description The Vice President of Products is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of ECS’s product portfolio across capital markets, sustainable finance, and ESG advisory solutions. This role oversees the end-to-end product lifecycle, including market research, product design, development, launch, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with client needs, regulatory trends, and ECS’s strategic priorities. The Vice President of Products will collaborate with advisory, technology, research, and business development teams to define product roadmaps, set performance metrics, and drive innovation in digital and service-based offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include prioritizing product initiatives, managing cross-functional workstreams, guiding product managers, and engaging with clients and partners to refine value propositions. The role also involves monitoring market developments, assessing product performance, and recommending enhancements that strengthen ECS’s position in Ethiopia’s evolving capital market ecosystem and regional markets.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy and Product Management, including defining product vision, roadmaps, and value propositions. Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market opportunities, regulatory trends, product performance data, and client feedback. Proven experience in Product Development, from concept and requirements definition through delivery and iteration. Background in financial services, capital markets, sustainable finance, or ESG advisory is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse cultural and professional contexts. Track record of working in remote, distributed teams and managing complex projects with multiple partners.
