Role Description This full-time remote Vice President of Strategy role is responsible for leading the development, execution, and continuous refinement of the organization’s long-term strategic plan. The person in this role will evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance data to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and digital initiatives. They will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategic priorities, define key performance indicators, and oversee strategic projects from concept through implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include structuring and managing strategic analyses, preparing executive-level presentations and recommendations, guiding strategic consulting efforts with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication of strategic goals across the organization. The role also involves mentoring team members, coordinating with finance on business cases and investment decisions, and monitoring outcomes to adjust strategy as needed.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, build insights, and support evidence-based recommendations. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, including developing long-term roadmaps, setting priorities, and aligning initiatives with organizational goals. Background in consulting or advisory roles, with proven capability to lead cross-functional strategic projects and influence senior stakeholders. Solid understanding of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, business case development, and evaluating strategic investments. Experience with digital strategy, including identifying and implementing technology-enabled solutions to drive growth, efficiency, and customer experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Proven leadership abilities, including team development, stakeholder management, and decision-making in fast-paced environments. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones and functions.
