About The Job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: 3D Artists & Video Editors (Must own MacBook) Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$60/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–20 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Complete and narrate real 3D and video editing tasks on your Mac to create high-quality training data for advanced AI models.
- Utilize tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
- Work independently with clearly structured responsibilities without high pressure.
- Explain creative decisions clearly while working to improve AI model performance.
- Collaborate asynchronously to meet deadlines and elevate training data quality.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Own a MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher.
- Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
- Experience with modeling, texturing, animation, editing, color grading, or motion graphics.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Master's studies, or have 2-3 years of relevant experience + Bachelor's from a prestigious institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
