Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (NY Certified)
- Role: New York State certified SWD + TVI certification education.
- Fully remote, 1099 contract position.
- Daily Rate: $350-360; rates are negotiable and subject to change.
- Schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM EST.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process. As a Fullmind educator, you will:
- Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
- Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
- Track student grades and performance
- Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
- Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active New York state Student with Disabilities certification with Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
