Role Description The VP of Product Marketing is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading product marketing strategy for PT Mitsuba Indonesia’s automotive electrical components portfolio. This position oversees the development and execution of go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, and market segmentation for global customers. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with product management, sales, and engineering to define value propositions, assess market needs, and refine product roadmaps. The role also involves analyzing market and competitor data, guiding pricing and commercialization strategies, and supporting key customer presentations and proposals. The VP of Product Marketing will mentor marketing team members, ensure brand consistency across materials, and align product marketing activities with business growth objectives.

Qualifications

Strong go-to-market strategy and positioning (marketing) skills, with experience launching and scaling products in technical or automotive markets. Demonstrated expertise in marketing and product management, including market analysis, segmentation, and product lifecycle management. Proven collaboration with sales teams, with skills in sales enablement, customer presentations, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. Background in B2B industrial or automotive sectors is highly beneficial, especially with complex technical products. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. Leadership experience in product marketing or related functions, including strategic planning and mentoring teams.
