Role Description The VP of Treasury is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s global treasury function, including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and capital structure optimization. This leader will develop and implement treasury policies, manage banking relationships, and ensure effective use of cash and credit facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash positions, supervising cash operations, managing investment strategies, and mitigating financial risk through appropriate instruments and hedging strategies. The VP of Treasury will collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and executive leadership to support strategic planning, corporate transactions, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role also involves leading and developing a treasury team, driving process improvements, and implementing technology solutions to enhance treasury efficiency and visibility.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Treasury Management and Cash Management, with experience in liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and bank relationship management. Robust Finance and Accounting skills, including understanding of capital markets, financial reporting, and corporate finance principles. Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, model scenarios, and support strategic decision-making. Proven leadership experience managing treasury or finance teams, with a collaborative and inclusive management style. Experience implementing treasury systems or financial technology solutions to improve controls, automation, and reporting. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior executives and external financial institutions. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA, CPA) is highly beneficial. Background in a complex, multi-entity or global business environment is a plus, along with experience in risk management and compliance.
