We are a European-based media company producing high-quality faceless content for American audiences. We run two documentary-style YouTube channels for a mainly US audience: Beyond Facts (www.youtube.com/@BeyondFacts): Technical Documentaries Beyond Military (www.youtube.com/@beyondmilitary): Defense and geopolitics We explain complex stories in a clear and engaging way. We're scaling to about 10 uploads a month on Beyond Facts and 20 a month on Beyond Military. We value originality, accuracy and strong storytelling. Good ideas are welcome, performance is measured objectively, and everyone is encouraged to improve how we work. Role Overview We're hiring a full-time YouTube Strategist & Producer who reports directly to the CEO. You will decide what we make, how each idea is packaged, and how each story keeps viewers watching. This is not an upload-management, social media or basic YouTube SEO role. What you will own Ideation and topics: Run outlier and competitor research, test topics against data, and keep a 6 to 8 week idea pipeline. Brief writers with clear content outlines. Packaging: Work with our thumbnail designer to finalize every thumbnail, title, and hook. Run A/B tests and refresh older videos. Scripts and retention: Read every script before voiceover. Improve the hook, the first 30 seconds, pacing, re-hooks and payoffs so the video delivers on its title and thumbnail. Production leadership: Run the production calendar across both channels. Lead writers, researchers, voice actors, editors and designers, and make sure every video is finished on time and to standard. Production calls: Lead weekly production calls, one per channel, with clear decisions, owners and deadlines. Analytics: Review each video at 1 hour 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. Read CTR, AVD, retention, traffic sources and audience geography every week, and turn them into experiments. What success looks like Median 28-day views per video rise on both channels. Today they are about 146k on Beyond Facts and 195k on Beyond Military. More videos reach 400k+ organic views in their first 30 days. US views and watch time grow while quality and upload cadence hold. What we need 3+ years in YouTube strategy, production or channel growth on long-form content. Proven long-form growth, with links and a clear explanation of what you personally changed. Videos that repeatedly reached 400k+ views within 30 days, ideally several over 1M. Strong judgement on ideas, titles, thumbnails, hooks and story structure. Advanced YouTube Studio and Analytics skills. You understand Browse, Suggested, Home and Search traffic. Experience directly managing writers, researchers, voice actors, editors and designers against deadlines. Ability to manage more than one channel at a time without lowering quality. Excellent written and spoken English, and comfort owning measurable targets. Nice to have Faceless documentary, history, military, geopolitics, aviation or maritime channels. Growing a channel beyond 10M monthly long-form views, or launching one from zero. Building a predominantly US audience. Knowledge of YouTube monetisation, advertiser-friendly content, Content ID and reused-content policies. Tools like Viewstats, 1of10, vidIQ, TubeBuddy, Google Trends, Notion, ClickUp, Airtable, Photoshop or Figma. This role is not for you if You run an agency or work freelance for several clients. Your experience is mostly Shorts, uploading or general social media. You can't commit to full-time work for one team.
