Account Manager
We're recruiting an Account Manager for a YC-backed AI startup that builds agents to automate browser-based work. Their customers use it for the jobs that live on websites with no API: filling out forms, downloading invoices, pulling data from portals. This person owns customers after the sale. You keep them, grow them, and get new customers live fast. You're technical enough to build and fix a workflow yourself instead of waiting on an engineer. What you'd own A book of about 20 enterprise and mid-market customers: renewals, expansion, contract and billing questions Taking new customers from the AE after the sale and running onboarding from kickoff to their first workflow live in production Building and debugging browser-automation workflows, reading run logs to figure out why something failed, and writing tickets engineers can act on Price vs. value conversations on usage-based contracts Relationships with buyers and executives, not just day-to-day users, and acting early when an account starts to slip How success is measured Net revenue change across your accounts Renewals closed on time Time from signed contract to first working workflow At-risk accounts brought back to healthy You're probably a fit if you have Owned renewals for a book of B2B software customers, in account management, customer success, or solutions engineering Debugged something technical yourself (APIs, JSON, logs, data) and can explain it simply Led pricing conversations, ideally on usage-based pricing A track record of beating your number Clear writing: tickets engineers can use and updates buyers can forward Worked with both ops leaders and product or technical leaders, since deals usually need buy-in from both Who this isn't for Anyone who hasn't owned renewals or a revenue number Folks who need an engineer to look at every technical issue Anyone who can't work hours that overlap US Eastern time Pay: $110K to $130K base, $145K to $175K OTE, plus equity. Variable is paid quarterly on renewals and revenue growth in your accounts. Canadian base is set to the Canadian market. Location: Fully remote, US or Canada. The interview process includes a hands-on exercise where you build a workflow and debug a failed run. This role is recruited by Jack. Apply and we'll set up a quick 15 minute call.
