Role Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing vendor invoices, payments, and related financial records with accuracy and timeliness. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and processing invoices, reconciling statements, coding expenses to the correct accounts, and preparing journal entries to support month-end close. The specialist will handle expense reports, verify compliance with company policies, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams. This role also supports the finance and accounting team with documentation, reporting, and process improvement activities to ensure efficient and reliable payables management.

Qualifications

Strong accounting and finance skills, including familiarity with Accounts Payable processes and general ledger Accounting. Experience preparing and reviewing Expense Reports and related documentation in a corporate environment. Ability to create and post Journal Entries (Accounting) accurately and support month-end close activities. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reconciling accounts, investigating variances, and ensuring data integrity. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Prior experience in media, advertising, or a fast-paced agency environment is a plus. SALARY RANGE: $38,000 - $55,000
