Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall financial strategy and operations of Star Agriwarehousing and Collateral Management Limited. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support business growth and risk management. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting, reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and optimizing capital structure and cash flow. The role involves partnering with senior leadership to evaluate investments, drive profitability, and support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights. The CFO will also lead and mentor the finance team, establish robust internal controls, and implement best practices in financial governance and performance measurement.

Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to guide strategic decisions and assess business performance. Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and statutory reports. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of Financial Statements to interpret results, identify trends, and ensure accuracy and compliance. Candidates should possess leadership and people management abilities to build, mentor, and oversee a high-performing finance team. Candidates should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with executive leadership, investors, lenders, and other partners. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and internal controls; experience in agriwarehousing, commodities, or financial services is an advantage. Candidates should possess a high level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, technology-enabled environment. Candidates should possess an advanced academic background such as a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) or a master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, along with substantial senior finance leadership experience.
