Structural Engineer — Florida PE | Remote Full-time | $130,000–$180,000 annually, based on experience Stratum House is hiring a Structural Engineer for Florida building projects. This is a remote position; Florida residency is not required. You’ll design and analyze structural systems, prepare calculations and construction documents, and work with architects and contractors to resolve design and construction questions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications. Evaluate structural systems and develop practical, buildable details. Apply the Florida Building Code and relevant structural standards. Coordinate with project teams and communicate engineering decisions clearly. Manage project deadlines and maintain organized technical documentation.

Qualifications

Active Florida PE license required. Degree in civil or structural engineering. Experience in structural analysis and building design. Proficiency with structural engineering software and drawing-review tools. Strong technical writing, communication, and independent working skills. LEED credentials preferred.
