About the Role

Spentex is seeking a Remote Data Analyst to support business decisions through data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring. This part-time position involves working with large datasets, identifying trends, and translating findings into practical recommendations. You will collaborate with teams across the business to understand their information needs, maintain reports and dashboards, and help ensure data remains accurate and reliable. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and communicate analytical findings clearly in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and meaningful insights. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business decisions. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver relevant data insights. Identify potential issues and opportunities through data analysis and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain data models and databases to support data accuracy and integrity. Keep up with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL. Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications / Requirements Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
