Role Description The Director of Market Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and executing Adaplo’s market growth strategy. This role involves conducting in-depth market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, customer segments, and emerging trends in small business technology and ERP solutions. The Director will collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans, go-to-market initiatives, and positioning that align with Adaplo’s long-term objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing market research projects, translating insights into actionable recommendations, partnering with sales and marketing teams on campaigns and messaging, and monitoring performance against strategic goals. The role also includes refining value propositions, supporting sales enablement, and ensuring cross-functional alignment around priority markets and offerings.

Qualifications

Strong market-focused skills, including Market Analysis and Market Research, to understand industries, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, generate insights, and inform evidence-based strategic decisions. Proven Strategic Planning experience, including developing market entry, growth, and positioning strategies. Sales-related skills, with experience collaborating closely with sales teams to shape go-to-market plans and drive revenue growth. Demonstrated leadership in market strategy or related roles, preferably in technology, ERP, or B2B services. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with skill in influencing stakeholders and articulating complex ideas clearly. Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
