Role Description The Executive Director at Aldimesa will provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the organization in a full-time, remote capacity. This role oversees long-term planning, organizational development, and goal setting, ensuring alignment with Aldimesa’s mission, values, and growth objectives. The Executive Director will manage key stakeholder relationships, including board members, partners, clients, and internal teams, while guiding decision-making on programs, services, and resource allocation. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising senior staff, leading budget planning, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Executive Director will also drive fundraising initiatives, business development efforts, and performance metrics, while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams, setting strategic priorities, and guiding organizational change. Proficiency in strategic planning, operational oversight, and performance monitoring, with the ability to translate vision into clear goals and action plans. Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and responsible stewardship of organizational resources. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage board members, staff, partners, and external stakeholders effectively. Experience in business development or fundraising, including cultivating partnerships, securing funding, and expanding organizational reach. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools, managing virtual teams, and maintaining accountability. Track record of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and creating a respectful, non-discriminatory workplace. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred but not required. Prior experience in an Executive Director or senior leadership role within a nonprofit, social enterprise, or mission-driven organization is highly beneficial.
