Open role
Frontend Engineer
About The Role The role focuses on building user-facing products where rendering performance, interaction quality, and design fidelity are treated as core engineering requirements, not afterthoughts. Expect to work on a large React-based frontend spanning complex dashboards, real-time data views, and customer-critical flows used by thousands of users daily. You will sit at the intersection of product design and platform engineering — translating Figma specs into performant, accessible components and shaping frontend architecture decisions alongside backend engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain production features in React and TypeScript, shipping weekly to a customer-facing web application Design reusable component architecture with a modern styling system (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, or design tokens), driving consistency across product surfaces Own frontend performance: bundle optimization, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals monitoring, and rendering performance for data-heavy views Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling caching, optimistic updates, and real-time data via WebSockets Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright; maintain high coverage on critical user flows Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-accurate, accessible (WCAG 2.1 AA) interfaces and push back constructively on UX tradeoffs Participate in architecture reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and contribute to frontend tooling and CI/CD pipelines What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 2 years shipping production React applications at scale Deep proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, or React Query) Demonstrated experience with performance profiling and optimization using browser DevTools, Lighthouse, or equivalent tooling Strong grasp of accessibility standards and responsive design across browsers and devices Experience with build tooling and bundlers (Vite, Webpack, Turborepo) and modern frontend CI/CD workflows Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering, design system ownership, Storybook, or frontend observability tools like Datadog RUM or Sentry
