About the Role: 717 Plumbing & Heating is an established, rapidly growing residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC contractor in Central PA. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination in Xero. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, including daily bank and credit card reconciliations. Manage Accounts Payable: code and enter supply house bills (APR Supply, Hajoca, RF Fager, etc.), verify POs, and prepare weekly vendor disbursements. Match and reconcile field invoicing and payments syncing from Housecall Pro into Xero. Reconcile company credit card statements and track receipts across field technicians. Prepare weekly payroll hours, commissions, and deductions for processing through PaySmart. Assist management with monthly accounts receivable aging reports and collection follow-ups. Work in coordination with our Operations Manager and external CPA/Advisors for clean month-end close. Qualifications: 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (field service, trades, or construction industry preferred). Strong working knowledge of Xero (or QuickBooks Online) and general ledger accounting. Experience with Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or similar field-service platforms is a major plus. Solid understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and accrual-based principles. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Why Join 717 Plumbing & Heating?
