About the position Our client has an opening for a Project Manager (812087). This position is up to 8 months with the option of extension. The client is located in 9120 Lockwood Blvd Mechanicsville, VA 23116. We can work Corp to Corp or W2.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams through waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Manage modernization or cloud-related projects.
• Work closely with development, QA, and engineering teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and guide maturing Agile teams.
• Implement delivery process improvements.

Requirements

• Project management experience in technical environments leading teams through waterfall and agile methodologies: 8 Years
• PMP & CSM Certifications Required
• Experience managing modernization or cloud-related projects: 8 Years
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle models: 10 Years
• Experience working closely with development, QA, and engineering teams: 7 Years
• Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies and Agile delivery practices: 8 Years
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and guide maturing Agile teams: 8 Years
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (Boards, tracking, visibility) or similar tool: 8 Years
• Proficiency with Microsoft Planner Premium or similar tool: 8 Years
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Nice-to-haves

• Project management experience in technical environments: Highly desired 10 Years
• Experience supporting microservices or API-driven environments: Desired 8 Years
