MCT Instructor Requirements Certification and Experience Senior Certified Coatings Inspector certification (earned within the last 10 years) or PCS 2 10 years’ coating inspection experience 2 years’ experience in marine coatings inspection Education Must meet one of the following: High School Graduate/GED with an additional 10 years’ work experience 4 Year Diploma Professional Engineer Advanced Education (Master’s or PhD) Course Level Mastery Must have taken the course and passed any applicable exam. AMPP Membership Must hold an active membership to apply. Personal References 3 references from a past supervisor, current or former colleague, and/or personal friend (non-relative). Names, email, and phone number of references must be entered on the application. Additional Information Preference will be given to applicants with technical expertise and prior teaching experience.
