NonStop Care is currently working with a leading independent education service in Norfolk. If you enjoy working with children with developmental trauma, neurodiversity, or cognitive difficulties, this might be the role for you. This is a trauma‑informed practice, for someone who would like to work in a private school, in a small classroom. The age group of children is 5‑16 years old. This is a permanent role that comes with benefits and a long‑term stable career opportunity, with career progression and development.
Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist you will provide on‑site occupational therapy to children and young people using trauma‑informed practice. After passing the probation period, you will transition into a 4‑day working week – work 4 days, get paid for 5 – a benefit designed to improve work‑life balance while maintaining the same earnings as a full‑time position. - you have qualifications as an Occupational Therapist and are registered with HCPC
- you have post‑qualifying experience of at least 1‑2 years working with children and young people
- you have experience with children with ADHD, neurodiversity, and trauma‑informed practice
