Games For Love Internship: Project Manager Assistant

About Games For Love

Games For Love (GFL) is a nonprofit that uses gaming to bring joy, support, and resources to kids facing hard times. We work with more than 200 hospitals in all 50 states and in 11 countries. Our internship program gives students real work experience while they help us serve more kids.

The Role

As Project Manager Assistant, you will help run our intern team and build the curriculum that trains every new intern who joins GFL. You will work closely with Ahmed to keep projects on track, keep interns supported, and turn how we work into simple, repeatable training.

What You Will Do

• Support the intern team: Track who is working on what, check in on progress, and flag blockers to Ahmed early.
• Run the rhythm: Help plan team meetings, take notes, and send out follow-ups and next steps.
• Build the curriculum: Write and organize onboarding guides, training modules, and how-to docs so new interns can get started fast.
• Keep projects moving: Keep task boards and timelines up to date, and make sure deadlines are clear.
• Improve the program: Gather intern feedback and suggest ways to make the program better as it grows.

What We Are Looking For

• Organized and dependable, with a habit of following through
• Clear, friendly writer and communicator
• Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Trello, or similar
• Interest in project management, education, games, or nonprofit work
• Bonus: experience as a team lead, tutor, club officer, or in game production
