Ambient Data Center Solutions is seeking an Account Executive to develop, manage, and grow relationships with data center owners, operators, engineers, and contractors across the Pacific Northwest. The role drives specification, project pursuits, and long-term account growth for complex HVAC and mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of data center and mission-critical accounts, including hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise facilities
• Drive early-stage specification with consulting engineers, owners, and end users
• Develop and execute account strategies for key customers and strategic projects
• Coordinate closely with Ambient's engineering, operations, and project teams to support project execution from pursuit through commissioning
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, including expansions, retrofits, and efficiency upgrades
• Manage complex, long-cycle sales opportunities from initial engagement through close
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and technical credibility
• Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and key account metrics
• Represent Ambient and its manufacturers at industry events, customer meetings, and job sites

Skills

• 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in HVAC, mechanical systems, mission-critical infrastructure, or related technical industries
• Experience working with or selling into data centers, critical facilities, or large commercial/industrial projects
• Strong understanding of the consulting engineer / contractor / owner sales ecosystem
• Ability to navigate technically complex solutions and collaborate with engineering teams
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage strategic accounts
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Experience with data center cooling solutions, including air- and water-cooled systems, CRAHs/CRACs, chillers, or heat rejection equipment
• Existing relationships with data center owners, operators, or engineering firms in the Pacific Northwest
• Experience working with manufacturers' representative firms
